Range S 1125

James Irvine has developed tables to match the barstool S 123. They are formally reserved, robust and easy to care for - and therefore perfectly suitable for the contract segment. With their different heights, tabletop shapes and surface versions, they fit into any environment.


Tables in standard hight of 105 cm, one or two-column. Round tabletops available in four sizes, square tabletops available in three sizes. Two-column base with rectangular or rounded tabletops available in three sizes. Surfaces in beech, maple, oak and walnut or with laminate. Columns chrome-plated, base plates stainless steel, bottom of base plate covered with felt.

James Irvine

James Irvine

Born in London, James Irvine graduated in 1984 from the Royal College of Art, London. In the same year he moved to Milan. From 1984 to 1992, he was a design consultant for Olivetti design studio Milan, under the direction of Michele De Lucchi and Ettore Sottsass. In 1987 he worked for one year at the Toshiba Design Centre in Tokyo. He returned to Milan in 1988 and opened his private design studio. His first clientes were Cappellini and SCP. From 1993 to 1997, in parallel to his private studio, he was a partner of Sottsass Associati, responsable for the studio's industrial design group. In 2004 he was the guest of honour at the fair Interieur in Kortrijk and was also elected Royal Designer for Industry by the Royal Society of Arts in London. In 2007 he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Design from Kingston University. His design studio in Milan has worked and works with various internationally renowned companies including Arper, Artemide, B&B Italia, MDF Italia, Mercedes Benz, Muji, Olivari, Offecct, Phaidon, Gebrüder T 1819, WMF and Zumtobel. James Irvine designed numerous products for Gebrüder T 1819 (A 660, A 1660, S 5000, S 123, S 1123) and advised the company from 2007-2011 in the position of art director. Today, Studio Irvine is run by his partner Marialaura Rossiello Irvine.
