It's a feast for the eyes: the 107 chair is particularly suited for use in restaurants and cafés, thanks to an excellent combination of elegance, stability and lightness. With its simple form, it also lends itself perfectly for use as a dining table chair in the home.
With the 107 chair, designer Robert Stadler continues Gebrüder T 1819's successful café and bistro furniture tradition. This wooden chair with its elegant form and comfortable feel is almost completely machine-produced, easy to clean and sturdy. Fulfilling both a constructional and aesthetic function, the offset backrest is a particularly striking feature.
Frame solid wood, without armrests, seat and backrest moulded plywood natural or stained beech. Wooden seats or upholstered with leather or fabric. With gliders for hard and soft floors.
Robert Stadler born in 1966 in Vienna. He studied design at IED/Milan and at ENSCI/Paris. In 1992 he cofounded the Radi Designers group which was active until 2008. In 2003 he opened his own studio in Paris. Robert Stadler intervenes in very diverse fields, obliterating all hierarchies between industrial product and the artwork. His projects range from product design or interiors for restaurants to exhibition projects and installations. He particularly enjoys to explore the exhibition space in order to scramble up the usual categories of art and design. His work is present in many private and public collections. He is represented by Carpenters Workshop Gallery and Galerie Triple V.
